candy-cane-1962136_1280Christmas break can be a stressful time for parents. Not only is there plenty of planning to do for family festivities and holiday gift-giving, but with your child home from school, it can be difficult to find activities to keep her or him occupied. This wreath is the perfect answer – not only is it a great activity that you and your child can put together, but it also makes a great addition to your home’s holiday decorations. With only a few things needed to make this beautiful holiday decoration, keeping your child busy with a great creative outlet has never been easier! Because you will be using a hot glue gun, you will want to supervise this activity, especially with younger children.Materials

  3. Flip the wreath over and add a bead of hot glue to the tips of each cane to reinforce the wreath’s connection.
  4. Hot glue the peppermints around the center of the wreath.
  5. Hot glue the Red Hots around the edge of the wreath.
  6. Use the ribbon to create a loop to hang the wreath, and tie a bow at the ends.
