Child-Friendly Super Bowl Snacks

Super Bowl Sunday is right around the corner, and game day is all about the snacks! Show your guests a good time by serving these football-themed finger foods. Have your little football fans help you prepare, as these are super simple child-friendly recipes!

Jersey Brownie
Turn your brownies into sweet shirts by using a cookie cutter that’s shaped like a football jersey! After spreading your choice of peanut butter, frosting, or Nutella, place M&Ms onto the shirt to represent your child’s favorite team colors and player number.

Pepperoni Pizza
Every party needs pizza. Prepare your pizza by placing the pepperoni into the shape of a football. Then, arrange strands of cheese in the center to represent the laces of the ball. For a final touch, spread some greens and herbs to display the football field!

Icing Laces
Find your favorite eclair recipe or buy mini ones from the store. Your child will simply use white icing to draw laces on the eclairs. Then you’ve got yourselves mini football eclairs to pass around!

Touchdown Cupcakes
Choose cupcakes with field green frosting or a frosting color that matches your family’s favorite team. Line them up in rows to create a field. With white icing, your child will draw yard lines.

Ball Bites
For this treat, you’ll just need crackers, thinly-sliced sausage, a block of cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing. Using a small cookie cutter, shape the meat and cheese pieces into an oblong football shape. Assemble the bites by layering the cheese and meat on top of the crackers. With the ranch dressing, draw on the laces.

Cheese Ball
Have your child mold cheese into the shape of a football — just an oblong shape! Chop up your child’s favorite nuts and the cheese ball until it’s entirely covered. Top it off with sliced red pepper for the laces. Enjoy with your favorite chips and veggies!
