Your Child is Safe at Our Schools

It’s a known fact that your child is safer at a private school than public school. Our private schools in Orlando are no exception to these reports. We are committed to taking the necessary steps and enforcing policies to ensure your child’s welfare at our schools.

Dress Codes

By incorporating a dress code policy that requires school uniforms for all students, we set a guideline for acceptance. When your child is dressed the same as everyone else, he is less likely to be bullied. Gang clothing and shirts with inappropriate words are banned. Additionally, uniforms eliminate socioeconomic differences among students.

Discipline and Student Conduct

Each school provides parents with a school handbook that outlines the rules and expectations for student conduct. Our policies include but are not limited to:

  • Prohibiting hateful language or threats

  • Prohibiting weapons of any kind on school property

  • Defining harassment and the procedures in place

  • Stating disciplinary action for infraction of the rules

  • Defining school evacuation plan

Internet

The internet is the way of the world these days, as it is a valuable tool in teaching. However, it can present challenges and risks for your child. Our school policy has perimeters for student conduct, acceptable use of the internet on school computers and devices, the right to monitor usage, and requires parents sign a yearly internet usage contract that acknowledges parents’ permission for children to use internet.  Devices include, but is not limited to, the internet, computers, iPads and digital textbooks and resources. It is the policy of the school to mandate and expect that all forms of technology be used in a responsible manner. The filtering system (blocking and monitoring inappropriate websites) is maintained for school use on computers as well as the iPad. The school cannot guarantee that access to all inappropriate sites will be blocked. It is the responsibility of the user to follow guidelines for appropriate use of the network on the internet. Students may not attempt to bypass or circumvent school filters

Bullying

Our handbooks outline what bullying consists of. Cyber bullying is not tolerated. Harassing, dissing, flaming, denigrating, impersonating, outing, tricking, excluding, and cyber stalking are all examples of cyberbullying. Engaging in these behaviors, or any online activities intended to harm (physically or emotionally) another person, results in severe disciplinary action and loss of privileges. In some cases, cyberbullying can be a crime. Activities are monitored and retained.

Security

Our secured campuses have 24/7 security. All parents, students, and visitors must enter the campus through the front offices. All volunteers and visitors must sign in through the Raptor system and have appropriately colored lanyard and pass in order to be on campus. The schools are monitored by video surveillance systems.
