St. Andrew Catholic School, in the Diocese of Orlando and a Notre Dame ACE (Alliance for Catholic Education) Academy, instructs students from Pre-K4 through eighth grade on academics, creativity, and spirituality. Centered on the mantra, “College and Heaven,” at St. Andrew Catholic School in Orlando we strive to give our students the knowledge and confidence to soar as they advance from grade school into high school and onward to college and even adulthood. Our school works toward creating more than scholars; we believe students should be good citizens of the environment and of the world, stewards of God’s word, and disciples of Jesus. St. Andrew provides lessons in life and spirituality in order to meet those goals. To give our students the ultimate Catholic school culture, advancement in their studies, and teaching and learning opportunities, we work with the dedicated staff at Notre Dame University and other high-performing Catholic schools across the United States. Through this partnership. St. Andrew students are able to solidify their Catholic identity in a welcoming environment that also promotes high achievement, here’s how:

  • Catholic culture: Students enhance their relationship with God as they serve others, worship with classmates and parishioners, study the Catholic faith, receive many of the sacraments of our faith, and celebrate Advent, Lent, and other Holy Days throughout the year.
  • Catholic action: Our faith is evident in our student’s actions as they participate in Campus Ministry, an interactive program that consists of students, teachers, and priests that give students the opportunity to lead and participate in community outreach programs, service projects, and retreats.
  • Accreditation: Our highly qualified teaching staff brings out the very best in our students by being enthusiastic, dedicated, and moral instructors. Our school is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference, and our curriculum exceeds State of Florida education standards, and the curriculum of the Diocese of Orlando. Instructional Assistants work with our elementary students while our middle school students are grouped by class and ability.
  • SOAR: After-school tutoring is available through our Sharing Opportunities for Academic Rigor (SOAR) program. This program works to identify and assist students in need. SOAR is a voluntary program that meets twice a week for an hour during the academic calendar year.
  • QUEST: Quality and Unique Experience in Study and Thought is an enrichment program for fourth and fifth-graders with high standardized test scores. QUEST offers learning experiences that focus on leadership, cognitive thinking skills, and creativity.
  • Extracurriculars: Art, media, music, physical education, Spanish, and technology are all included in the education of our students. Our fourth through eighth-graders are invited to participate in choir, bell choir, and chorus. Our talent show and Diocesan Art Show is open to all students.
